Ms. Fendrick's 2nd Graders

So as many of you know, I'm a Teach for America corps member in Miami-Dade County. This year, I'm going to be teaching 2nd grade at Earlington Heights Elementary! (http://earlingtonheightselem.dadeschools.net/) This school was ranked "F" due to test scores, so it's a TItle 1 school, and we have an extra hour at the end of each day for academic intervention. I'm going to be teaching every subject to these kiddos!

Many of my students come from low-income backgrounds and have reduced lunch, so I really want to be able to provide basic school supplies for them! This includes notebooks, markers, BOOKS, etc.! When I walked into my classroom today, I noticed a lack of books/supplies. I already know that my kids are going to do great things in my classroom, so I would love love love if you helped them out so they and their parents don't have to worry about silly little things like pencils.
