Volunteer Opportunity in South Africa

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. My name is Lacy Edwards and I am a junior at NC State University (Go Pack!), where I am majoring in Animal Science and then going on to vet school. A few days ago, I received information on a volunteer opportunity in South Africa. It is a two week trip during the summer where I will be able to work at an elephant sanctuary, construct play equipment for school children, live and work at a big game reserve, remove poachers' snares from the wild, and much more. I can hardly contain my excitement at the thought of this educational and humbling experience! However, I know there is no way I will be able to make this dream come true with out some financial help, seeing as I am already putting myself through college.
