Hello Friends and Family,
Someone near and dear to my heart Jerry Ingram has experienced a horrible eye injury and will require a lot of medical treatment and surgery to try and save his eye.
Jerrington Ingram is a 38-year-old Belize resident who has worked as a sawmill supervisor for 23 years. On Friday, July 28th he had an unexpected accident and was hit by a piece of wood in his left eye causing severe damage. This was not a work injury so he will be responsible out of pocket for all medical expenses.
He ruptured his pupil, causing severe inflammation of the retina and a crack on the eyeball which will need to be repaired via surgery. Currently, he is lacking vision and will need a lot of medical treatment to save his eye and his vision. All of the nerves which send signals to the brain are damaged and his eyeball is dislocated and holding on into the socket by one small tendon.
The amount of medical treatment that will be needed is expensive and is financially impossible for the family; he does not have health insurance so all medical procedures will be an out of pocket expenses over the next 90 to 120 days hoping to save his eye and restore his vision so he can return to work and provide for his family.
Any contribution towards his medical expenses will go a long. The family thanks you in advance for your support and prayers in their time of need.
God Bless You!
