Derrick Campos Family In Houston

Hi! I am Stephanie Pauley. One of my high school classmates lives in the Houston area. Derrick posted the following on Facebook Sunday evening ... "Update on the Campos family. The water started coming in and we have about 6" so far, and they haven't even opened up the reserve. They're going to do that about 2 o'clock and at that point we should expect a couple more feet probably over the next couple days. So we are making plans to evacuate 1st thing in the morning if we can. Word is once they open the reserve dams our house will stay submerged for a few weeks to a couple months. This is highly unfortunate." He and his family are safe and staying with a friend. I would like to raise what money we can to help Derrick and his family out in the coming weeks or longer so they can get and do the things they need. I am doing this to pay forward all the good will that was shown to my family when they were involved in a flood in WV in 1995. They lost all their cars plus all three bridges that allowed them and 4 other families to cross the swollen creek. Everyone was stuck on their side of the creek with no way out for 3 days. There are awesome people in this world! Please help me show Derrick and his family that they are cared for and that we are thinking about them. All money will go to Derrick and his family! Thank you!
