20 years old living away from home for the first time. After living in San Louis Obispo Ca. for less than ten months she was gone. Missing, kidnapped by a paroled level three serial rapist released from a 20 year sentence 10 years too early. He stalked her by sitting on her neighbors  roof tops watching her. He was even on her roof peering into her windows. The morning of March 11th 1999 he scaled up to a tiny 2ft by 8inch bathroom window ten feet off the ground and squeezed
himself through that window. It took the investigating officers a week to figure out how he got in. All her other doors and windows were locked. He kidnapped, raped, sodomized, tortured and strangled her to death. He is now serving time on death row at San Quentin, Ca.
She was a loving generous bright young woman full of plans. From the age of four years old all she wanted was to dance the ballet. She was student of the month, of the week and on the Honor Roll all through school. Aundria
had written a paper about her future, she wanted to marry, have children, live in Wyoming on a horse ranch and have her own design business. She loved babies, the  ballet, big trucks and life. She gave of her time in small ways. She once took the time to help another student(she did not know) on crutches trying to get to class. Aundria stopped and took her books and backpack and walked her to class even though it would cause her to be late to her own class. She volunteered her time at her boyfriend Josh's fraternity helping out with charity barbeques. Aundria was an accomplished horse woman, a ballet dancer and a sometime auto mechanic often working to fix own her car.  She had many irons in the fire all the time but always had time for others. The day she went missing she was to meet with her friend Stephanie and go to a play at Cal Poly. She was a student of design at Cuesta College and took extension courses from Cal Poly for animal husbandry. She worked two jobs one at an auto  parts store and another at a veterinary service.   She will be gone now for almost 20 years and yet it still feels like yesterday when I discovered her missing when she did not call me or answer her pager. She was the kind of daughter that called her mom almost everyday and always answered her pager calls. I knew at midnight on March 12th that something was very wrong. When the police got into her apartment at 6 am that morning they too realized there was something very wrong!
I want this scholarship to fund young people who are victims of sex crimes. Those that survive physically need all the help they can get to move on with their lives.
Any amount of donation will help. I am starting this fund with $250.00 of my money. I would like to raise $5000.00 or more to make this a continuous scholarship so students can look forward to getting help  every year not just a one time thing. Aundria needs to be remembered and remind everyone what monsters are still out there still being released and recommitting their vicious acts on other innocents. The State of California does not have a viable program to stop these vicious criminals but they continue to release them early from their sentences because they haven't raped anyone while incarcerated.
Growing up in Fresno Ca. until she was 18 her last name was Eberhart. She changed that to Crawford  my maiden name when her dad told her it was her fault that she was molested under his roof by a "step brother"  when she was just three years old he had forced her to sleep in the same bedroom with him and then when she turn 18 he also said he would not support her going to college. All she ever wanted was a dad,  he chose not to be one. Please help me keep her memory alive buy donating even a small amount so she can help victims of such heinous crimes. She suffered as a child by an uncaring parent but did not grow up bitter and cruel and use that to hurt others.  I have created a separate savings account to hold the funds until we raise enough. Please share this with all your friends and family so her death does not go unnoticed and forgotten. Thank you all for your support now and in the future.
