My Father was hit and killed by a suspected drunk driver while out for his regular nightly walk. He is survived by his wife, 5 adult children and 11 grand children and 3 great grand children. He touched the lives of everyone who knew him he was beyond active in the community and did everything and then some he could to help Veterans. A Vietnam war veteran known for working to honor the military and pushing to add “In God We Trust” to city council chamber walls thru out California he spearheaded a campaign to make Yorba Linda a “red shirt city” in 2013. The move honors veterans and deployed personnel by wearing red every Friday. The tradition dates to World War II and is one his passions a U.S. Navy veteran, took to the Yorba Linda City Council, which unanimously approved it.
My Dad did all he could for the Community and Veterans . I want to be sure my mom isn't left to handle all these expenses and others a lone. No gesture is to small or to large this is a trying time and all help is greatly appreciated.
