John Lowe's Recovery Fund

Hello everyone,
My name is Cole Renner and I'm a good friend of John Lowe's. Like John and Natascha, I live in the lower mainland.
John was in a serious car accident on the evening of November 12, 2015 but is in stable condition. Here is the story:
John bought another old Dodge pick up truck to replace the one that was stolen. His mum was in the UK to celebrate her first anniversary with her husband, Joe. John went to Langley to visit his maternal grandmother.
On the way home he ran out of gas at about 5 PM. He was on the 232 Street onramp to east bound Highway 1. The gas gauge doesn’t work in the truck.
He phoned his dad, Ray, who said he would pick up a gas can and meet him at the truck. When Ray arrived there was no one in the truck but he did see a big group of emergency vehicles closer to the Chevron gas station.
It appears John was walking to the gas station with his dog, Pixel. It was probably raining very heavily.
John was struck by a F350 on his left side. The driver of the truck stopped immediately and tried to help John.
John has two breaks in his left arm, several broken ribs, ruptured spleen and kidney and a bruised aorta. He has a concussion, but doesn’t appear to have actually struck his head. He doesn’t seem to have any nerve damage.
John has been in and out of consciousness. He is aware of what’s happened and has managed to maintain a sense of humour. Tonight they were trying to reduce his blood pressure as he has internal bleeding. He will have surgical procedures as soon as he is able.
John is in the high acuity ICU. He is in critical but stable condition. He cannot receive visitors. John and Natascha are a young couple without a big income stream, so if you felt lead to help out with the additional expenses that would be blessing.
John and Natascha will be receiving all of the funds directly in order to offset the lost income from his injury and recovery. When the campaign ends, I will be in contact with them to make the necessary transfer.
