Bring Back Sto-Rox Base/Softball
Donation protected
Sto-Rox High School in McKees Rocks, PA has been without softball and baseball programs for the past three years. This spring, the programs are back.
Unfortunately, the teams still do not have adequate equipment to field a team. Ongoing Winter workouts see the team members switching gloves in between drills because they simply don't have enough. They're short on bats, helmets, and other safety equipment. Help is needed.
With budgets getting slashed, we cannot expect our school districts to fund athletic programs as they have in the past. In many areas, they need help from private donors to make athletics and other extracurricular activities accessible to their students.
Whether we like it or not, athletics keep kids motivated in the classroom. They have to keep their grades up to play the game that they love. This helps kids truly value their whole educational experience.
If you are able, please consider donating however much you can. All proceeds from this campaign will ensure that the student-athletes at Sto-Rox will have adequate safety equipment for years to come.
The Bring It Back project was started to help kids in situations such as this one. Together, we can help give them access to the same activities that kids have had access to for generations.
