Emma is a 5 year old little girl, she was born with Spina Bifida. Emma gets around mostly in her wheelchair, but she does have braces to walk in and uses a walker to do so. She had surgery back in March and was walking most the day prior to the surgery. After the surgery she wasn’t able to walk for 3 months and then when we did get new braces for her she broke them and then it was another 3 weeks after that. She has gotten very weak since then so walking is much more difficult for her. She started Kindergarten this year and she has been stuck in her wheelchair at school all day long. She started complaining about her back, and rightfully so since she is in it all day. Come to find out her chair needs to be completely modified to be made bigger since she has grown so much and it needs to have repairs done, and on top of this we are wanting to get Emma a Mobile stander so she can stand tall and work on strengthening her legs as well as getting her up right to help everything function better. This will be great for her at school so she can still move around freely like she does in her wheelchair. These are major expenses we did not anticipate. We are asking for your help, we only get so much help from insurance and we are struggling to come up with all the money.

I am hoping that at this point her wheelchair will quifiy for so many repairs we will excede the amount of a new one...if so we are looking at the Colours Razorblade Jr. which are completely customisable. For a new wheelchair.
