Rebecca's Recovery

Rebecca Timmons, a veteran 911 dispatcher for the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, was involved in a severe collision in the early hours of Wednesday, December 9th 2015. Her vehicle was t-boned on the driver’s side door and after being extricated from her car, which is totaled, Rebecca was flown to Lawnwood Medical Center and as of today, December 16th, 2015, she remains in ICU. Rebecca is a single mother with two adult children at home. Friends and family have been helping as best they can, but Rebecca and her family are going to need more assistance. At this point it is undetermined when she will be able to return to work, or even leave the hospital, but we do know it is going to be a long recovery for her.

For more than a decade Rebecca has been a police dispatcher helping the people of Martin County when they need it most, it’s time to give back. All donations go towards medical and household bills for the duration of her recovery. Thank you in advance for your help during this difficult time.
