Help The Taylor Family

Edit Update: My highschool is refusing to help me, despite knowing my mom and know her struggles with cancer; calling it fake but then now they’re setting up a fund to donate to the school nurses cancer fund. They have openly disrespected and denounced my family and our risk of going homeless to help my moms fight. Please, i’m desperate now. Anything helps.


My name is Tyler Taylor, though most people may know me as Elizabeth. I’m currently a student at Boonsboro High-School and this fundraiser is to raise as much money as possible so that my family and I can pay overdue bills and keep our home. What’s left would go to helping me pay the cost of transitioning into a male.

My Family and I are currently going through some extremely difficult and painful times. We’re several MONTHS behind on bills and at risk of losing our home entirely due to using what money we had to pay for my Mom’s chemotherapy and cancer treatments. Because my Mom is still recovering from her mastectomy and still has cancer, she is unable to work and earn the money necessary to help keep us afloat. There is also the matter of my therapy, which costs $15 a visit and doctor’s appointments so that I may transition, though saving our home comes first.

I had originally planned to get a side job and pay for my transition out of my own pocket while I finished high-school and use the remainder to help with bills but as it stands I may have to drop out entirely and work full time just to help keep a roof over our heads. At this point my Mom has taken to selling jewelry and things to help pay what we can but that won’t last forever.

I’m sure you’ve read this sort of thing plenty of times but, please do what you can. Anything you can spare to donate is greatly appreciated and I will be forever grateful any and all help given. If you can’t spare any money to the fundraiser it would also be helpful if you could spread the link around on social media or to friends and family that might be willing to help.
