Hedgpeth Family Emergency Fund

Friends and Fam,I am asking for your help in supporting my life-long "extended family" members during this difficult time. Many of you already know that our friend Ryan Hedgpeth was involved in a terrible car accident this week that resulted in her being flown to a hospital in West Virginia where she is expected to under-go surgery, and will likely have a complicated and lengthy road to recovery. BUT... if there is one thing I know to be true, it is that Ryan is a strong-willed lady and a fighter to the core, and she WILL persevere. Her loyal friend "Blue" the Bernese Mountain dog was riding with her at the time of the accident, and despite having a broken femur, was able to stay with Ryan until help could arrive; the definition of man's best friend. He is also under-going surgery to repair his leg and will later require physical therapy to help with the healing process.This family has been a rock for me and my family through some very dark and trying times, and they have been active members of the Hurt and Altavista communities for many, many years. They are constantly giving to others and would never ask for anything in return even in a time of need... and they shouldn't have to. As a tight-knit community I should hope that it goes without saying they deserve any help we can provide, and this page is just one way of making it easy for those of us looking to help, but don't quite know how.Todd, Judith, Ben, Ryan, Sarah... we love you guys and are thinking about you all and praying for you and your family and sending nothing but positive vibes your way!!
