Eveline's liver & kidney transplant fund

This page has been set up to help our Mother, Mother-in-law, Grandma, and Great Grandma, Eveline Leedy with medical and living expenses she will endure due to a liver and kidney transplant.

She has been diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver, and doctors say a kidney/liver transplant is critical to her survival, as both organs have been affected by her Hepatitis C and Lupus.

Fortunately, she does have health insurance, which will cover the cost of the transplant itself, but she will face significant medical and living expenses related to the surgery, medications, and specialists. She will need a lifetime of follow-up care and daily anti-rejection medications. These medications are very costly and as important to her survival as the transplant itself. After the surgery she will have to relocate to Stanford Medical Center for three months because she will have follow ups, labs, and meet with doctors 3-4 times a week.

Despite her challenges, Eveline is thankful each day, and she relies on her strong faith to stay positive. Eveline has 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson, who mean everything to her. Every donation & any prayers sent are greatly appreciated.
