Griggs Family

I’m writing on behalf of my boyfriend’s family. They are currently in between homes. They have been evicted from their home due to an argument with their landlord that had been harassing the family. Since this has happened they have been moved into a hotel for a week now and have been constantly threatened by the hotel manager to be thrown out for an unknown reason. They are also struggling to find a different hotel but with two dogs, there isn’t much around. They have also had to take more money out to buy a storage unit to keep all of their belongings. There is only one income coming in for the family, by my boyfriend’s mother. Her and her middle son share the only working car that they have leaving it hard for the two boys to work with no reliable transportation. They are struggling to pay their car payment and other bills, as well as find a home or apartment that they can afford. They have found a home that is well within their monthly budget, but can not afford it due to not having the upfront dues right away. Their youngest son, my boyfriend, is leaving for college soon and has no money to afford a dorm or a car to commute daily. They are such a hardworking and loving family and it hurts me to see them struggling and knowing that there isn’t much that I can do but offer my car, or a bed to sleep in once in awhile, or even to buy them a meal. They are the type of people that don’t like asking for help because they want to do things for themselves. That’s why I am starting this fundraiser for them. Please help in any way that you can so that they can find a roof to keep over their heads.
