Sarah's Pro-Life Mission Trip

Sarah is a Junior at Christendom College in Front Royal, Virginia. Christendom is a small Catholic school with a big heart. As is true of all  Christians, students at Christendom are very pro-life and deeply concerned that Ireland, a country who has up until now heroically fought to prevent the legalization of abortion, is voting this spring on whether to repeal her 8th Amendment which is the law AGAINST abortion. Imagine having a law against abortion... it's what we Christians dream of here in America. We must stand up to defend life in Ireland! Evil can NOT continue to spread! This trip is born of a desire by students to defend life by joining their Irish comrads in a "boots on the ground" effort to canvas local areas which would benefit from pure evangelazation and enlightenment as to the evils of abortion. These same students also plan to be the heart of Christ in the world by working with the homeless of Ireland.

I hate to ask for help, but the trip is expected to cost around $1800 (which includes airfare). I would never fundraise if this were a vacation and not a mission. The group will be traveling over spring break, so time is short. 

As much as we'd like to, we can't all stop our busy lives to fight under the banner of Christ Our Lord in this way. However, sometimes when we find ourselves able, we can support those who are called. I pray this is Sarah's tour of duty!
