Support Recognize Mini Pigs As Pets

Hello y'all! K&M here asking for your generous support this winter for our rescue buddy piggies! Winter comes with a vengeance and the cold really can affect our piggies. Piggies love to be warm, and despite having shelter or a barn, they really could use so much more! This is where our Gofundme account comes into play! We are a completely privately funded, all money out of our own pockets, rescue. We have provide all the necessities on a daily basis, but winter take more of a toll, and we could still use our followers and the community's help, as we still believe in the age old "it takes a village"! We will be in need of several heat lamps and bulbs, large/xlarge dog houses or igloos for shelter but mostly the warmth of a smaller enclosed space. Many times we need to purchase wood and materials to build additonal structures, making sure all is air and water tight. As always, shavings and orchard grass hay, more so in the winter is greatly needed to properly bed and insulate our babies. We love blanket donations, but we are always happy to buy them new blankets and comforters to bury in and stay warm. Large dog beds work great and they sure do love them! There's nothing like seeing a piggy warm and happy during the winter months. Sadly, all these items add up, and fast. So with our privately funded rescue we are limited in what we can financially justify, although we'd take all we have to house happy pigs, always. Heat lamps at approx $10/lamp, as I said we need SEVERAL. Doghouses and Igloos are pricey, yet any amount of donation towards houses will greatly cut the cost down to provide these amenities. A large bag of shavings is approx $7/bag, and orchard hay about $15-$18/bale. You see, it all adds up. We all realize that times are tight and with holidays coming even tighter, yet if you have thought of donating to a very worthy, deserving cause that will make a big impact, please consider K&M's rescue. Many of these babies have never experienced the warmth of a blanket or bed, much less the heat from a lamp and a soft bedded stall. Many of these amazing creatures don't know what it's like to be spoiled and loved, and that's where we've stepped in, and where you can help in making them happy and feel loved again. Even $10 or $20 helps buy a bale of hay, 1-3 bags of shavings or blankets!
