Nova's Vet Care and Final Expense

When we arrived home on 10/6, we were not greeted at the door by our puppy Nova who usually comes running for joy that we were home. We immediately knew something was very wrong. She finally crept out of the bedroom with her head down. There were spots of blood throughout the house... We rushed her to the closest after hours vet where she was given a couple of different tests, both which were inconclusive... She was given fluids and a shot for nausea, some antibiotics and was sent home. Throughout the night, Nova struggled with her breathing and was becoming increasingly lethargic... I left the house at 8am to grab her some pedialyte, as soon as I arrived back, we knew there was no hope for her... She just couldn't fight any longer... We again rushed her to the vet, but she had left us by the time we arrived. Our sweet girl was 6 months old, we had her for 4 months.


In those 4 months, she became the highlight of our lives. She touched so many people and pets. There has never been a more happy or loving dog that I have ever met.  We were not prepared for the abrupt cost of the vet visits or cremation cost... Since we have other animals, we were also encouraged to replace anything she came in contact with that cannot be bleached. This includes towels, washcloths, pillows, carpet, couch, and even our mattress. We are asking for your kind donations to help ease the financial burden trying to save our loving puppies life has placed on us...
