My Dad’s Medical Bills

(Hey guys I really appreciate all the support but I’m really trying to keep this a surprise so please try not to share publicly on Facebook!!)

Three years ago my dad was diagnosed with stage four Glioblastoma...this is a very aggressive, incurable form of brain cancer. Since then he’s undergone two surgeries, multiple rounds of chemo and radiation, clinical trials, and many different medications. Early last week he went in for a routine scan which showed many new tumor spots and one big tumor which has crossed over into the midline of his brain. While this was definitely not the news we were hoping for, we were happy to hear that surgery was once again an option. As you can imagine this journey has not only taken a toll on my family emotionally but also financially. However through this whole process, my mom hasn’t wavered once. I’ve never once heard her complain or ask for help and she’s shown more strength than you could ever imagine. With Christmas just around the corner I wanted to be able to do something special for her. Even on top of all the medical bills she’s always made sure that the holiday is a special time for my entire family. While I know in the long run the only thing that truly matters right now is that we’re able to spend another Christmas together as a family, I know it would lift an enormous weight off her shoulders to know that some of these bills are taken care of. I’m not one to publicly share my personal life let alone ask anyone to donate their hard earned money but I know this would mean the world to her.
