Benitez Family Relief

The Benitez family was hit extremely hard by the Montecito flood and mudslides. They were not able to make it out of their house on time and it cost the lives of three family members: 10-year-old Jonathan Benitez, three-year-old Kailly Benitez, and Kailly’s mom. Apart from the family members that they have lost their lives, there are two more in the intensive care unit at Cottage Hospital: One 2-year-old little boy, recovering from bone fractures and the father of one of the children who passed away. Rescue workers are still searching for Faviola Benitez, Jonathan’s mom who has not yet been found.

I ask you please, on behalf of the family, to be generous. Any amount would make a difference in order for them to be able to lay the family members who have passed away in peace. Also, we can help them financially with the recovery of their additional family members. If you can give donations of clothes for the two-year-old little boy we will also accept them, since they have lost all of their belongings.

La familia Benitez ha sufrido un golpe muy severo con la inundación y deslaves en Montecito. No pudieron salir de su casa a tiempo y perdieron tres miembros de la familia: Jonathan Benitez, con 10 años, Kailly Benitez, con 3 años y la mamá de Kailly. Aparte de los que perdieron sus vidas, hay dos más en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos del Hospital Cottage un niño con 2 años, recuperando de huesos fracturados y el padre de un niño que se murió. Los trabajadores de rescate están buscando para Faviola Benitez, la mamá de Jonathan, pero aún no la encuentran.


Les pido, en el nombre de la familia, que sean generosos. Cualquier cantidad haría una diferencia para que pudieran dejar que sus seres queridos fallecidos descansaran en paz.
