For Fox Sake
Donation protected
Dexter the Fox was going to be put down as he was deemed too aggressive by his previous owner, fortunately the vets persuaded the owner to sign him over to them. The vets, unable to give him appropriate housing, approached the Ark Wildlife Park and Exotic Animal Sanctuary who agreed to take him in and offer him a forever home along with the other 250 animal rescues from the pet trade that call the Ark their home. He will be offered a forever home here at the Ark, he is currently living in a spacious quarantine facility, whereon initial inspection he seems to be anything but aggressive, just shy and misunderstood. Long term, however, he will need a large outdoor natural enclosure to call his own.
This is where we are asking for the public's help and support to help fund the building of a new enclosure as being a non profit sanctuary the Ark doesn't have spare funds for building large enclosures at the drop of a hat.
Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated and all donors names will be placed on a plaque on the enclosure, for significant donations we would be more than happy to provide a family ticket for the park or annual passes as appropriate so you can come and meet Dexter and the many other rescue animals at the Ark for yourself!
