To start, I'd like to tell you how pumped and thankful I am that you're even giving my fundraiser a glimmer of attention. It means the world to me and I really appreciate your time.
In case you don't know, my name is Gus McNearney, I am from Atlanta, Georgia, and I am a sophomore at the University of Mississippi. This year for spring break (March 10-17), I have made the decision to travel to Haiti for a mission trip through an organization called Mission of Hope with the Ole Miss Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ).
While in Haiti, we will be working in orphanages ministering to children and building homes displaced by the 2010 earthquake and recent hurricane.
If you are able to help, please consider contributing to my fundraiser as the money raised will be used to help pay for travel, living arrangements, toiletries, and work supplies while in Haiti. Donations will be accepted until March 9. Any additional funds will be given to the Mission of Hope organization through check.
I can't stress enough how much this means to me and how much I look forward to the growth and knowledge I will gain during my week in Haiti. Any donation will not go unnoticed and I thank you in advance for your contribution.
