The American Heroes Foundation (AHF) is proudly spearheading an effort to put a roof over the head a deserving Tampa Bay Area military veteran who has served our nation with honor and dignity as an enlisted soldier and an officer. Lee Morgan is a partially blind, disabled veteran who served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam era with almost twenty years of faithful service. Lee was devastated when he lost his Texas home during Hurricane Harvey and evacuated to our area to be near his son who is also a decorated Army veteran and a local first responder. He arrived just days before Hurricane Irma and has been living with his family since September 2017.It's time to help Lee get the forever home that he's earned and well deserves . To that end, we have secured the title to an area mobile home where Lee can live and enjoy his twilight years. The home needs some work before Lee can take possession, and there are lot rental fees to be paid going forward. The work that needs to be done can be completed with the help of local trades organizations,contractors and valuable community volunteers , so we're putting out the call for help with volunteer work and donation for materials.
