Hi everyone! Let me tell you a story. If you have followed me on social media at all over the past 3 years, you know that one of my biggest goals has been to compete at Miss USA. Miss NJ USA (the preliminary to Miss USA) is happening right at the Hilton in Parsippany October 19th. I have been mentally and physically preparing for this weekend for a good while now, and i'm here to ask for some support (and it's tax deductable lol). I have a lot to bring to the table since i'm involved in basically everything, and I think I finally have a shot this year. This pageant is a HUGE undertaking for me, both time and money. I have seen many girls competing raise money through GoFundMe so I thought it was worth a try. I am putting my all into this, and y'all know I go big or go home. I have been almost financially independent since I was 18... I work multiple jobs, pay for college, my car, etc. My pageantry has not been, and never will be, funded by anyone other than me and my supporters. This pageant is not cheap... The entry fee alone is $1,100. That is A LOT of lattes I have to make. I have to pay for my gown, and all other outfits contributing to it. I'm paying for my fabulous coaches (thank you Tiffany and Michelle), hair and makeup, my headshots, etc. I want to be as prepared as I possibly can for this, and I know you all are thinking omg why would anyone put thousands into something like this; this is my dream, it'll help me push my platform and reach thousands of more children across the country, and this will help me in the field that I want to go into (broadcast journalism). So if anyone would like to donate even just $1, it would be greatly appreciated. Let's put Chester NJ on the map even more, when one of their locals goes on to compete on national television at Miss USA ;) Thank you for taking the time to read this!!
