Stand beside Betty Payne

Mrs. Betty is an amazing women who has spent her entire life taking care of others.  Each day she comes into work with a smile on her face, a positive attitude and loves "her" babies as if they were her own.  About a month ago Mrs. Betty was fighting what she thought was a nasty cold, after about a week she sought medical attention for the cold as it worsened.  After a few x-rays she learned that she was not just fighting a cold, she was fighting for her life, Mrs.  Betty was diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer.   Even with good health insurance Mrs. Betty faces cancer treatments that will cost thousands of dollars and put her out of work periodically, burdening her and her family even further.  The staff at Good Samaritan Academy as well as Good Samaritan United Methodist Church have come together to support Mrs. Betty and her loved ones during this difficult time, please help us in our effort!
