Hi, I'm Dominic Emerson and I have signed up to doing a 160ft bungee jump at the O2 Arena in London, UK.
I am doing this to raise awareness for Adam Jones - a 14 year old boy kidnapped from his mother in Bahrain in 2009 and held against his will in Qatar. The aim is too raise money for Adam's family to go towards legal costs and travel expenses to help bring Adam home.

"My beautiful son Adam is a British Citizen who is now 14 years old. He was kidnapped at the age of 10 during a routine visit to Qatar to visit his late fathers relatives. Since then I have been fighting to get him back. Adam was taken by his uncle, A Qatari Police officer and hidden for 8 weeks. We immediately filed a kidnapping case against him but the police said it was a family matter and took no action. For 8 weeks I searched for my son, I cannot describe the agony of losing him. The uncle had no legal right to keep Adam. Adam and I had not spent a day apart from the day he was born. 8 weeks later in a 3 minute hearing I lost custody of my beautiful son to his 80 year old grandmother, a woman who is sick and incapable of looking after him. I saw my son for the first time 3 months after he was abducted. He hugged me for two hours sobbing, I felt like my heart had been ripped out. When he was first abducted, he was not allowed to go to school for 9 months and was kept indoors incase he tried to escape. He was isolated, not allowed to talk to any of his family or friends. I fought to get visitation rights but due to the uncle being a police officer and having connections in the court, i received the harshest custody agreement possible. I could only see Adam locked in a small room with no windows and no furniture and never take him outside. We have endured this for four years. Adam is desperate to come home and is now at breaking point. He has suffered so much and lost four years of his childhood. The daily abuse and neglect he is suffering is beyond comprehension. We need your support to bring him home. He is an innocent little boy who needs me his mum. I miss him so much it is hard to bare.
We are planning to raise a new case in the Qatari courts within the next 12 weeks but in order to do this we must raise at least Thirteen thousand pounds. This case has crippled us financially and we have already spent one hundred thousand pounds over the past four years fighting to get Adam back. I spend two thousand pounds per month on flights to Qatar alone without these upcoming legal costs. I have only 6 weeks left to file this case otherwise we will have to wait until 2014. Adam cant take much more and whilst fundraising is the absolute last thing i want to do I have no choice if I want to fight to bring my son home."
