Support the Kuhl Family
Donation protected
The world lost a beautiful soul, loving mother, caring sister, generous daughter, and loyal wife on Wednesday, July 11th, 2018. Tara Kuhl (nee Machut), age 39, joined her eternal Savior unexpectedly, leaving us distraught and in disbelief. She leaves behind her husband Jon and two wonderful children in addition to siblings, her parents, and more friends than can be counted.
Since this tragic loss was so sudden and because of the outpouring of loved ones and friends asking how to assist the family at this time, her close friends and I have set up this site to accept donations to be used toward funeral expenses as well as to help fund 529 education funds for Tara's two children.
Tara can only be described as the most generous, attentive, kind, friendly, supportive, and joy-filled woman. She greeted everyone with a giant smile and usually a hug. She always signed up to volunteer her time and talents wherever she could and was amazing at recruiting. She had an amazing energy that made her glow from within and drew others to her. My favorite attribute however, was her unyielding faith in Jesus and her fearless expression of her faith to others. She was set in changing the world with one smile at a time. In the last few days, I have read and heard from so many past and recent friends who shared with me how deeply Tara touched their lives, inspired them and helped them. As I write these words, while looking at her photo, I know that there will never be a day in the future where someone on this great Earth isn't remembering and missing her presence. She was loved more vastly than anyone I've met, but she was loved most by the Lord who escorted her home. I can only imagine she greeted him too with a smile and a hug.
If you were touched by Tara and have wanted to show your support of her family, please consider a donation here or by mailing a check to Brookfield Lutheran Church c/o Jon Kuhl, 18500 W. Burleigh Rd., Brookfield, WI 53045. Donations made through this site are subject to a credit processing fee of 2.9% plus $0.30.
Jon has also indicated that in lieu of flowers he suggested donations to LUMIN schools (the Lutheran Urban Mission Initiative), A place of Refuge Ministries of South Wisconsin, or Eye Witness for Life, Ltd. because Tara valued those organizations as well.
