Lions live by the motto "We Serve".
The Thalia Lions club has been serving the community of Virginia Beach since 1966. Our community service continously changes to meet the changing needs of our community.
We provide eye and hearing screenings and exams to those in need.
We collect and recycle eyeglass and hearing aids.
We partner with Virginia Beach Schools and Headstart programs to screen children for early detection of eye abnormalities.
We feed the hungry.
We clean our streets.
We provide clothes to the needy.
We conduct Audible Easter Egg hunts so visually impaired children can participate.
We help raise funds for the Foundation for Figthing Blindness to conduct groundbreaking research.
Where there is a need, there is a Lion.
Most importantly, we serve!
Your donation will help fund our service efforts. All proceeds we collect goes to a charitable cause.
All club administration and overhead cost are paid by Lions. We do not use any public money in this manner.
