Five Keys Charter School is a non-profit organization that aims to help anyone looking to earn their High School Diploma or GED. Through the use of Social and Restorative Justice Principles, Five Keys provides traditionally underserved communities the opportunity to restart their education with a focus on the Five Keys: EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, RECOVERY, FAMILY AND COMMUNITY.
This June, we are hosting our very first Prom for the Los Angeles Youth Site's Junior/Senior class. With a limited budget, we have started fundraising in order to give students a Prom that is truely special. We have decided NOT to charge our students ticket fees in order to help with the costs associated with formal events. Many of our students may not be able to afford extra costs at this time, so it is our hope to provide any help necessary and also to throw a Prom that EVERYONE will be able to attend.
All the money raised will be for Prom and it will go toward the venue, transportation, food, decorations, seating, entertainment, attire, hair/make-up, photographer, security, and any other expenses that need to be covered.
