Hi guys I am trying to raise a small amount of money to cover Chloe’s cost for a solicitor, please if you can help by donating or even sharing this.
So my best friend has had to deal with her abusive ex for the past 6 months, he’s constantly harassing her, she’s had to get a new phone and a new number and he still manages to find it out. She’s caught him lurking outside her house and he’s told her to kill herself at her place of work in front of customers and colleagues on several occasions and threatened her with violence.
Monday 28th May was the final straw for her, when enjoying our mates birthday at a nightclub she walked past him and he proceeded to throw his drink at her and scream abuse in her face before assaulting her. She now has a black eye.
The police are aware and her court case is some time next week but she’s got to pay £184 for a solicitor, even with help of legal aid. This cost is then repeated monthly until the case is resolved.
In my eyes she shouldn’t have to pay anything just to be free from his abusive behaviour.
It’s so horrible seeing her so upset and scared from this whole situation and knowing I can hardly do anything to help us heartbreaking.
She just wants him out of her life, she wants to be able to answer her phone and not worry it’s him, not worry about him turning up at her house and go on a night out and not worry about getting assaulted.
Please please if any of you could offer anything to help with the cost. We’re grateful for even £1.
