Support Spurv’s new album!

For the past year or so, we have been working on a new album, and earlier this year, we entered the fabulous Malabar studio in Oslo. With the aid of Martin Bowitz and Emil Nikolaisen, as well as an unprecedented array of extremely talented guest musicians, we have come to produce the raw material of what we strongly believe to be our best release thus far. Yet, there is still some work left to do, and now we ask for your kind support to help us finish the album.

Our ambitions with this album are high, and consequently, the costs are higher than before. We would like to do some more studio recording, and we still need to mix and master the album. We’re launching this page so that those of you who would like to support the creation of our new album, and help speed-up the process, can do so by effectively pre-order the album, either digitally, on cd or vinyl. We will make sure that you will be the first to receive the album when it is done. We hope that we will be able to release the album this year, but these things are – of course – difficult to estimate.  

Since the release of our debut album “Skarntyde” two years ago, we have reached out to new fans across the globe. We are honored by the kind words we have received from all the wonderful people we have met, and from those who have written to us. You should know that this means a lot to us. Really. It gives us the energy and inspiration to create more music.
