As most of you have heard, my dear brother Jackie Wilson was shot while trying to rebuild his life in Portland Maine . He was being treated in the (special care unit) at Maine Medical Hospital . During his stay there he had to endure (6) surgeries removing a kidney ,spleen,colon,both his leg, and foot. His body had lost its ability to form blood clots, so they had to inject 100 units of blood between surgeries. After 4 days of fighting for his life, my brother Jackie was pronounced dead (July 3rd, 2018 ) due to a dramatic drop in heart rate. Jackie was a life long resident of CT, and dwelled mostly in the North End of Waterbury. The family is trying to raise donations to transport his body 243 miles back to Waterbury, CT so that he can be given a memorial service, and a proper burial among the people who love, and support him. Any donation large or small will help our family provide Jackie Wilson with a dignified burial so that he can rest in peace, and be in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
