Ava Beck Fight Against Osteosarcoma

June 2018, our world changed. Our smiling, outgoing, fun loving Ava was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at 8 years old. After processing and understanding exactly what that meant, OUR fight against Cancer began.July 2nd, 2018: Round one of Chemo started. The chemo is every two weeks with a required 72-hour hospital say for Ava, for a total of 12 weeks’ worth of treatment. After her 12 weeks Ava will under go surgery. And after surgery Ava will go through another 12 round of Chemo. The doctors and family will then meet to discuss any additional treatment as needed.Ava and her family are traveling from the Rockford area to Madison Wisconsin for this required treatment, which is around 80 miles one way, in addition to hotel stays, and time off work. Ava’s mom has received “donated” time off work from her co-workers, and her father is taking time off work as well to be by her side, but the medical costs are starting to add up, and they are only in the first 3 weeks’ of this fight. Ava fight is only just beginning for her, this will continue for the rest of her life with ongoing medical bills and dr visits. The family is asking for any support that you may be able to give.
