Dear Friends and Family,
I come before you with a heavy heart for my mothers life was aburptly and tragically taken from us yesterday morning. (9/17/2015)
To those of you who knew her, you know how incredibly wonderful this woman was. She touched everyone she came in contact with, with her geniune and caring personality.
She was truly loved by everyone she knew.
To those of you who didn't have the pleasure and honor of meeting her, she was the strongest person I have ever known. She was a tireless and extremly hard working woman who did everything in her power to give her children the life she never had. With an endearing love of Christ that showed in every step she took and word she said. I saw this wonderful woman truly start from the bottom.
As an immigrant to our country she started cleaning houses and taking care of children to earn a living. She put herself through ESL classes and finally obtained a high school diploma. She then started taking CNA classes and became a full time CNA working double shifts to help support my brothers and I.
She continued working as a CNA and simultaneously put herself through school to become an LVN and with her rigourous work ethic graduated and obtained her LVN license. She took cases and worked with many special needs children who came to love and adore her.
She worked her way to become a school nurse for the Southern Kern Unified School District where she continued touching the lives of all those around her.
She worked tirelessly and became a citizen of this grand country of ours. She continued to strive for more and continued her pursuit of her american dream. We were all truly blessed to have her touch our lives, and i'm even more blessed to be her son.

I'm so proud of you mom, you are the shining example of what a mother should be you instilled not only your love of God but also your tirless work ethic in all three of us, I know your in heaven looking down at us and still loving us even more now then ever. I love you mom and i'll be waiting to see you soon.
With all the love in the world,
Your son
Enrique
