Help Quincy get top surgery!

I'm a transgender man living in Virginia, and I need your help! I've been on Testosterone for 5 months, and am hoping to get top surgery (breast removal) this winter. I am saving as much money as I can, but all the costs associated with putting my brother through college make it hard for my family to save the necessary amount of money. Our insurance company was supposed to cover half of the cost, but they updated their terms and now do not cover gender affirming surgeries. My quality of life is being directly affected by this, as I tightly bind my chest every day, worsening existing back and shoulder problems as well as limiting my ability to sing in D.C.'s LGBT choir. My depression and gender dysphpria are worsening, especially when I thought I could make this happen, and it now seems to be slipping through my fingers. The money I need is for the part of the surgery I can't save for myself, as well as related appointments and the time off my family and I will need for my recovery.
