Post Nepal Crisis Recovery Project

Donation protected
I'm free now, home in USA, and safe after 5.5 months of mental torture, harsh physical discomfort, and grave danger.

Suddenly and miraculously I’m back from Nepal thanks to all supporters. Now starting a new life. Working on new social issues that I’ve always been passionate about: affordable housing disruption, student mental health, and suicide reduction. I feel confident Western supporters will grow to appreciate and love new USA based social work because everyone here can experience it first hand.

In the Nepal emergency we raised the amount that got me out of jail as fast as possible with a top Nepali lawyer. It was one of the highest raising funds we have ever launched. It almost covered all legal and travel expenses but didn’t completely cover it. We consider it a big success.

$19k legal emergency fundraising can be broken down like this:

$15k lawyer budget
$4k additional travel and Nepal based fees to immigration and government expenses, donated by Mary Bartnikowski

She doesn’t want any more reimbursement so we want to close the campaign as I’m free now, mission accomplished.

This new fund is for anyone to support the next USA based stage of recovery and rehabilitation after this 5-month family tragedy. Mary, my mother gave 100% of her time, turning down work and giving all the money she could to save me.

Now there isn’t reason to keep supporting the first successful and well funded get out of jail fund.

Now would be a perfect time to describe the next step of recovery and rehabilitation necessary after the crisis of having my whole intellectual property, physical property (incl. land, buildings, vehicles, machines) stolen, lost, or destroyed suddenly after working full time on a Nepal social impact startup since 2011.

I don’t like to make a campaign for myself but I do need help at this moment.

The basic and essential next steps to get things going here I think it can be accomplished by raising even 10% of the immediate campaign for legal expenses that raised $19k+ and truly got me free thanks to public help.

10 percent is enough to help me buy some essential things now restarting life in the USA.

What I truly need is $1500 or more for a basic car to get around and work.

I’m back home alive and well.

Thank God I had to come back with practically nothing after years of sacrifices, time, and resources for Nepal. So it’s hard to start over suddenly. I can do it myself, but it isn’t going to be easy.

My new fund will be 100% invested in USA unlike the first fund that went all to Nepal.

I'm grateful and blessed to be home again and working on new humanitarian projects here in the Bay Area to help the USA.
