My Family Lost Everything

My name is Merlyn Rivera. I'm trying to raise money for my family. My mother, brother, and sister lost everything  due to a fire that tore through multiple buildings in Brooklyn, Bushwick neighborhood on Dekalb avenue and Knickerbocker avenue. This happened on March 29th, 2016 around 9:30 pm.
11 people were injured and about 30 families were left homeless including my Mother, brother, and sister. They were literally left with nothing but the clothes on their back.  Any donations no matter how small will be helpful. This money will be used for clothing, personal items such as, toiletries, and food. I am helping my family as much as I can but extra help is needed and appreciated. I'm still in shock I can't believe this happened. I grew up in this building most of my life, my mother has lived there for 23 years and in 5 minutes the fire destroyed everything she owned all her memories, pictures, things of sentimental value, documents, everything was lost. My mother is trying to get help and she's in the process of being transfered to a family shelter until she can get back up on her feet and find a new place to live. This is a sad and hard time for all the families involved. I'm thankful that at least No lives were lost.
