Help Heal “Broken Bones Bert”!

On September 15, 2018 a dear friend, Robert Hegedus was involved in a very scary accident that almost cost him his life. He was riding his motorcycle on the highway when another driver traveling in the wrong direction drove sideways in front of him, leaving him with nowhere to go but straight into the side of her vehicle. She then left the scene, and left Rob in the street. Thankfully, his friend helped him to safety, and thankfully he is alive! Rob was wearing his helmet, which is most likely what saved his life. He has a broken left hand, a broken left foot and an injured left shoulder. His right wrist is broken, his right femur, tibia, and ankle are all broken. Due to his injuries, he cannot walk and because both hands/wrists are casted, he can barely even use his hands. Once he’s released from the hospital, he’ll need to go to a rehabilitation center to stay for therapy. Needless to say, he has a long road of recovery in front of him. He will need a lot of assistance getting around and doing things that he could and would normally do for himself. And of course, he won’t be able to work. This will put a huge financial burden on Rob. He has mortgage, car payment, and utilities to pay, along with his 3 dogs to feed, and I’m sure the hospital bills will start coming before too long, unfortunately. Any amount of donation would be so very helpful and immensely appreciated!!!
