Woodworking for active duty & vets

Hi an thank you for your interest. My gofundme is for something I have dreamed about most my life. To start here is a little about myself. I am a soldier in the U.S. Army an have served for 12 years. I'm a medically retired veteran. I am a wood worker and a maker. It's something I love and helps me when I feel overwhelmed or have a bad day. Where I'm stationed at is where my wife and I have a house. We love it here. So here is the goal. I'm going to open my home and shop to active duty and vets as a past time program to get them out the house or single soldiers living in the barracks some time to unwind. The goal is to keep them from sitting around and being idle and give them a place to escape that is positive. We would like to be able to have a big brother program on the weekend so our vets can help children that need a mentor. I need to upgrade some of my tools to a little better ones and stock up on some building supplies as well as set up build and setup work benches. My long term goal is to employ vets as a way to fund the program further an provide job for vets that really need help.. Thank you for your time an donations.
