Glimmermen (DCU Multimedia Thesis)

We're looking for funding to create a website exposing the secretive Irish government intelligence department, An Roinn Anaithnid (known as Glimmermen).

Its agents have been active in containing the ravenous mythological creatures which roam the fields and towns of Ireland - and now we've got our hands on their most revealing documents.

Through a sleek web archive hosting case files, photographs and richly produced documentaries about the Glimmermen's targets one thing will become abundantly clear: they weren't stories; they were warnings.

Your kind donation would be going towards:

- costumes, make-up and special effects materials for realistic recreations
- travel and food costs for our talent
- props and additional production costs
- rental of specialist filming equipment
- access to a drone for stunning aerial footage

We're five DCU students - Jamie,  Jane, Janina, Dónal and Harry - doing our Master's in Multimedia.

We're crazy about media production, already having entered three short films into competitions between us since we met in September 2015.

In order to actually get our degrees we need to produce a high-quality, professional project and document the process every step of the way.

Realising our vision - particularly with respect to the mini-documentaries - will require a modest budget which we simply don't have access to right now.
