Jessica Weldon- is a amazing and compassionate fighter! Who was just married to my brother approximately seven months ago. Jessica ( is the oldest daughter of Roger and Rosanna Molieri) Chris (youngest son of Micheal and Deborah Newland) Jessica went to the hospital three weeks ago for a entirely different pain in her body to get check out and asked them to also look in to the pain in her head do to what was thought a sinus infection. Which started a journey over the next three weeks for her fighting for her life- over six surgeries, removal of upper mouth pallet, sinus cavity area, one of her eyes fully removed and the second threatened to be removed but has left her blind right now- fungus has been contained, being treated, and closely monitored. Doctor’s are astound that she is even alive at this time based on how aggressive this fungus was growing. A feeding tube has been surgically inserted so she can actually begin the transition to home care and begin to put the pieces of her life back together again. As tragic and quick life can change Jessica’s faith, courage, and joy have not wavered during this storm in her life. She is a walking miracle and now I want to reach out and share her story because we can not sit back and not take action!!! Multiple new surgeries, home health care, modifications to the home, transportation, time off work, reconstruction/ prosthetics, upcoming rehabilitation, and supplies are needed immediately. If everyone can do something - we together can bring some peace and joy to Jessica’s life and family.
