Marra Senki Academy Rebuild
Donation protected
Hey Team, family and friends;
This is Alberto Da Silva (Coach Berto) and owner of Marra Senki JJ in Panama City and Mat Shark JJ in Port Saint Joe.
As I’m sure you already all know from our Facebook feeds that our schools were destroyed and our home severely damaged during this horrific storm.
We want to rebuild. But to rebuild we’ll have to start from the bottom up. My home will need new walls, flooring, fence, windows, roof, and items and furniture that were destroyed during the storm. Our school will need mats, weights, uniforms, rash guards, new floating mat floors, and other equipment for us to teach and train our craft. We’ll also need to compete for a new location as locations in the devastation area gets rebuilt. Which means deposits, new street signs, moving expense of what we may be able to recover and salvage, and the man power to do it. This is overwhelming and I can’t do it alone.
The first time we built, it started in a little space with mats I was given as a gift. We grew and become a team. And now this event, we weren’t ready for.
All the funds donated will be used to help our family get back on our feet in order for us to revive our team again. Your donations will help us secure a living space that we can work from to begin to fix our home and acquire all tools, mats, and workout equipment we’ll need to reopen a new gym for our team.
Our first goal is to find a place to sleep for the next few months instead of having to bounce from hotel to hotel or live inside a hazard zone with our child and dogs.
If you can, please donate and or share our campaign. Any little bit will help us greatly during these difficult times everyone here is having.
Hurricane Michael washed away many things for all of us. We’re happy our family is safe and sound, we’re grateful that everyone in our team is safe. We will rebuild with your help.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
