AARON & MARGARET WALLACE FOUNDATION is in need of three vans, two trucks, three computers, four iPads, and other equipment to better serve the needy of No. California and the nation.
The Aaron & Margaret Wallace Foundation, founded in 1957, is non-denominational, multi-cultural, and offers charitable assistance to the general public in matters relating to obtaining, maintaining, and generally improving the social, economic, familial and educational conditions of those we serve. We provide essential services to many inter-faith based organizations with the aim of bettering the condition of the less fortunate.In that spirit of outreach, we have supplied many Jewish, Christian, Muslim, LGBT, Disabled, Unabled, multi-cultural, inter-faith based businesses and organizations with staples that are in turn distributed to the public, providing us with the ability to serve over 30,000 a month of those most in need in the Northern California Community from our 19 locations from Fremont in the south to Fairfield in the north. Besides servicing over 30,000 people per month, we have and do provide for thousands with the special events we support and/or host, and these events are NOT only fundraisers, BUT MOST are totally free to the public, there is no charge for anything to anyone.

Eid Celebration, Cinco de Mayo, Chinese New Years, Juneteenth, Christmas, 4th of July, Hanukah, and Memorial Day, among others, where the celebrations usually begins with festivities for the children and are provided fully catered meals, fun rides, video games, a petting zoo, toys, gifts, amusements, arts and crafts, basketball, football, baseball, volleyball, tennis, professional instruction, and other sporting activities, all free to the public!. They attendees are mainly poor, unemployed, under served children, students, and disabled. They are of ALL nationalities, countries, religions and languages, while increasing more and more diversely everyday.

We are a "Gold" Accredited IRS 501(c)(3), California Tax Exempt, while we have been awarded, certified and registered by/with GuideStar, TechSoup, Good 360, Recycles.org, Network for Good, Digital Wish, MicroSoft givingCampaign, Grassroots.org, Google Non-Profits, Change The World, YouTube for Non-Profits, FundRazr, ebay Giving Works, PayPal Giving Fund, and Charitynet, among others! We qualify for religious charitable donations of Alms, Tzedakah, Zakat, Sadaqah, Tithe, Altruism, Gifts, Donation, and Noblesse oblige.

Two authors/scholars from U. C. Berkeley and Oxford University, England, are writing a book and there is in development a film project entitled "Bread and Flowers" about how the Aaron & Margaret Wallace Foundation Food Programs has transformed the communities that we serve. It is planned that there will be a film from the book adaptation as well.

To understate the obvious, there is no food program transforming the communities and certainly no book entitled "Bread and Flowers" without our donors! The book is not even about the Aaron & Margaret Wallace Foundation, it’s the new “spirit” that one feels from the communities that we serve and how it’s renewal of the souls has brought people together across all walks of life, every social, economic and spiritual stratus.

People are amazed that they can not only see the difference in the communities but feel it as well! There have been so many stories of adversaries becoming friends and advocates of each other; people whom formerly would not speak to each other now sharing a meal and conversation; weekend school students teaching parents with a pastry; criminals sharing bread and recipes with victims and former targets!

You see, we can’'t take credit for any of this, nor is the book about us receiving credit for it, but we must give credit where credit is due, to ALL our partners, YOU being one of our majors!
