Forgotten orphans of War - IRAQ

Hi Everyone.

I have started this page for the forgotten people of Iraq, the forgotten orphans of war and families left to deal with a war torn nation. Yes many are doing just fine but there are also many struggling to live. I have seen charities left right and centre about many countries but rarely do I hear Iraq being mentioned.
I have been there and like anyone else who's been there, they will tell you what the conditions are like. It's heartbreaking especially when they seem to struggle with the basic necessities that many of us take for granted everyday.
I thought I would start with a $5000 goal and insha'Allah (by Gods will) many more to come. We won't notice a few dollars that we donate and they won't affect us but they will make a huge contribution to the lives of many disadvantaged individuals.


I thought that rather than giving them the money it would be a great idea to buy (for as many as we can, with the money that we have) something that is a basic necessity, maybe like a water pump, heaters for the cold weather, blankets, anything really that is a basic necessity.


Please help with all you can, we can make the world we live in a better place. We enjoy so much and are blessed with so much, so why not help others enjoy a fraction of what we do!
Let's put our hands together and put a smile on the face of these forgotten orphans and disadvantaged families.
