Dear Friends and Family,
We have established this fund to help support the two twin 12-year old daughters left behind when our dear Eric Moore passed away from a heart attack this Monday morning 11/09/2015, while driving to work. Over the past several years, Eric's devotion to being a father led him to live a healthy and very active lifestyle. After work, he exercised at the gym daily, spent evenings with his girls, had a very active online community involvement, and went fishing and surfing on the weekends. He was constantly busy with something.
Eric Scott Moore was born in Miami-Dade, FL where he attended, and graduated from, Miami Killian Senior High. During school, he was very active in the ROTC program, and after graduation, went to serve in the 1st Calvary Division of the United States Army where he was selected to march in the parade for the inauguration of President Bush. Eric was also appointed to be one of the soldiers to guard the Capital Building after the 9/11 attack on the US, and then the Pentagon one year later. His family could not be more proud of his many many accomplishments.
In later years, Eric worked as a skilled Carpenter & Director of Logistics in the family business, creating many of the designs for corporate clients at many of the national festivals across the US, especially in South Beach, FL & New York City, NY. His work was seen on television broadcasts, magazines, and various video programs throughout the world.
Eric is survived by his Father & Mother, Lee & Leslye, his older brother, Dale, and his two twin girls, Isabella & Gretchen. Eric was so incredibly proud of his two little girls and would go to the ends of the earth for anything they needed. As his girls enter the most challenging times of their life, any and all support from the many friends we have come to find, is greatly appreciated.
This fund will be used to help guide & support his girls as they move into their future. It takes a village to raise a child, and Eric would be so thrilled to know that his friends and family are there to help continue fostering his legacy.
