This GoFundMe has been set up in order to collect funds on behalf of the Friends of the Fox Lake Aquatic Center an organization raising funds for the pool. The pool is over 20 years old! Many people grew up going to the Fox Lake Aquatic Center. Today several families still to continue to enjoy time spent swimming. I have heard so many great memories. One big tradition is diving for rings and going down the slide! I am sure many people remember doing that as a child. There are many upgrades that could be done and the costs in keeping the pool maintained have gone up.
Some Maintenance Items include:
Pool floor resurfacing
Pool inlet returns in floor replaced
Slide deck posts replaced
Ph probe for chemicals
Non-slip surfacing in restrooms
LMI chlorine pump
Main pump maintenance/parts
Along with special events, I hope this account can inspire people to donate to keep the pool a great place for local families and friends to gather and make memories!
