Hi my name is Bliss Maglasang Ejercito. In behalf of my first degree cousin, Dashiel Lorenz Maglasang Ruelos, I am seeking for help from everyone with kind hearts from all over the world to help me get my dear cousin through with his illness. He is a 19-year-old senior high school student from Cebu, Philippines. He is the son of Rolly Ruelos and Elien Maglasang Ruelos, a high school teacher at Consolacion National High School.
Recently, he was diagnosed with an illness called APLASTIC ANEMIA, a kind of rare disease, a blood disorder where the bone marrow does not make enough blood cells for his body and until he gets one, he is having his day to day medication which is also causing his family a lot of money considering his parents' income is just barely enough for their needs.
Most of the time, he feels weak, easily gets sick and he has been in & out of the hospital for the past months. Because of this, he will be forced to stop school until he fully regain his health. His doctor says it requires a BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT the soonest possible to fix his illness. However, this transplant operation would cost a huge amount of money in which his parents are unable to afford. I am so devastated when I heard the bad news from my Aunt Elien. She is planning to take an early retirement just so she could get Dashiel the treatment he needs but sad to say, it's not even enough to cover half of the total cost.
Please help my cousin, please help our family. We know that Dashiel still wants to enjoy & live a normal life like most kids do, achieve his dreams & see what future looks like 50 years or more from now. He can only possibly experience that if we help him.
While he is also patiently waiting for anybody’s generosity to help him and his parents raise fund to fulfill the best treatment for Dashiel, I also would like to ask you to please send them positive thoughts and prayers.
