The South Downs Half Trail Marathon

Donation protected
This summer on June 16th, I have decided to undertake the challenge of running the South Downs Trail Half Marathon. It is all off road with a total climb of 1,500ft!  I thought this would be a good opportunity to try to raise some money for Give a Dog a Home.  This is a small group of volunteers which rescues and homes dogs in South East England. Many of the dogs were found on the streets, either as puppies or abandoned pets, and are longing for a loving home of their own. Every penny raised goes towards not only vaccinations and homing costs but also projects to spay and neuter dogs on the streets.  You can be assured that unlike the larger charities, every penny helps a dog in distress.

They are especially short of funds this summer so any donations they receive really does help them and makes a massive difference.  I used this group to get my dog Indy from a pound in Romania and hopefully the pictures on this page show what a difference this has made to her life.

Thank you for visiting my page. I am aiming to raise £100, please dig deep for this great group and to help get me up those hills.
