Elysia (Lala) Bassett Memorial Fund

Our family unexpectedly lost a bright, shining star on January 11th, 2019. Elysia was full of life and brought happiness wherever she went. It’s obvious by the number of friends she’s made over the years that she was very much loved, and brought immense joy and laughter to our lives.

Whether it was through her music, love of makeup and beauty, excitement to pet and snuggle any dog, or her brave spirit and willingness to try anything, Lala left an impression on so many people.

This sudden loss has left a grieving family with the unbearable task of burying a 19 year old with so much life left to live. Please consider giving any amount you can to help ease this heavy burden. Any amount is deeply loved and appreciated.

Any funds that that exceed the costs of the funeral and memorial service will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Pueblo County, which is an organization that was very close to Lala’s heart. She spent most of her youth either attending as a member or mentoring as a teen leader.
