Help Get Denim & Frills Back In Business!
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Shannon Sundin Wheeler and I have been shopping at Denim & Frills Consignment Shop for 18 years and the Girls there (And yes you too Scott) have become family to us! The Lewis family tragically lost their family owned Children’s Consignment Shop on January 19, 2019 to a horrible fire. Julie and her Mom Carol started their Shop 22 years ago and become a HUGE staple in our Community, they are two spectacular human beings that have been there for us, they have 4 local charities that they give to weekly that are depending on their donations, the morning after the fire Julies concern was what these charities were going to do and worry for her employees that need income, she’s a selfless hardworking person and she has surrounded herself with like minded wonderful people in her shop, you walk in and they know your kids by name and genuinely care for you. This fire started in another shop and quickly took over Denim & Frills and quickly was engulfed in flames and has been deemed a complete loss, the fire Marshall has condemned the building now, it could be over a year or more to build. Julie is actively searching for a new location for Denim & Frills since the future at the old location is unknown, hopefully she will be able to announce this very soon. Insurance covers so little unfortunately, every fixture, everything is a total loss, Julie stayed till the Firefighter litterly pulled her & 1 Employee out trying to back up her systems so your consignment figures were saved, she promises everyone will be taken care of, she loves her consigners like Family. They have a long road in front of them but they have a huge community that loves and needs them, my goal is to raise funds to help them get up and running ASAP! Julie wouldn’t ask a soul for help, she’s the giver so let’s show her what it feels like to receive! Thank you all so much!Shannon
