Sitsa’s Teeth

I would first like to offer my sincerest gratitude for all of your kindness. This has been a really difficult couple of seasons for me and my family with grief and loss and health trauma and your love means the world to us. It’s hard for me to post this but many of my friends, family, and even my doctor requested a place to donate so here it is.As many of you may know already, I recently had a really bad fall. I wasn’t on roller skates or wheels of any kind and it’s pretty embarrassing to say that I was just walking. I have Von Willebrand’s Disease which is a bleeding disorder that causes a mild chronic anemia and I am prone to dizziness and I was feeling pretty bad that day. I lost my footing and fell hard down a steep gravel hill a couple blocks from my house. The result was a concussion, whiplash, and I broke my two front teeth exposing the root and requiring an emergency root canal. This all feels particularly awful since I have just barely recovered from intensive abdominal surgery that I had in May as well as a bowel obstruction and hospitalization in July. Losing my front teeth while barely making peace with the giant scar on my abdomen and the continuous anxiety regarding my health feels like a cruel joke. The total cost to repair my teeth is $5690.80. I do not expect to raise this whole amount but I was asked to include the entire cost so here it is. This is a huge financial hardship for me and my family and I sincerely thank you for any donations. I have received so many words of encouragement and kindness these past few days and that alone is so priceless.
